About

Luca Brugnoli is an award-winning British vocalist whose journey began with an unstoppable love for singing as a young child. His talent was nurtured early through ABRSM training with baritone Tom Colwell, and by age seven, his vocal ability was undeniable. Though offered places at several top UK chorister schools, Luca chose to remain with his family, ultimately joining the world-renowned Libera Boys Choir just before his eighth birthday—a decision that launched his career.

As a soloist, Luca has performed alongside legendary conductor Sir Karl Jenkins, featured on Aled Jones’ Vespera, and collaborated with American producer Kurt Bestor on Ave Maria. In 2022, his artistry was formally recognized when he was crowned Male Soloist in the BBC’s Young Chorister of the Year series.

In 2023, Luca independently released his debut classical album Rise Up, followed by a string of chart-topping singles including When Christmas Comes to Town, Somewhere in My Memory, and Mystery of Your Gift. His evolving partnership with Steinway Artist and producer Dominic Ferris led to the 2024 release of Through My Eyes—a cinematic and emotionally rich album blending musical theatre, film themes, and original compositions.

New Year’s Eve 2024 marked Luca’s vocal transition with the release of The Mystery of Your Gift, symbolizing the retirement of his treble voice and the beginning of a new chapter. In 2025, he returned to Manila for a full-scale concert, earned a nomination at the Young Artists Academy Awards, was a semi-finalist for 'best album' in Petrichor Records Competition, and began recording in his new voice—solidifying his place as a rising star in international music.

Now in his GCSE year, Luca continues to develop his artistry through song writing, piano, and bass guitar, while actively supporting local charities. As his voice matures, he hopes it will earn the same acclaim as his treble years—marked by standout performances like The Prayer, which has garnered over 805K views. Transitioning from a celebrated treble to the unknown territory of a new vocal range is no small feat, but Luca’s tenacity and perseverance are already making a mark on the industry. His story remains one of passion, independence, and a voice that continues to resonate across generations.

CHARITY WORK

Giving Back Through Music

Luca is deeply committed to ensuring his music serves a greater purpose. More than just performance, his artistry is a vehicle for compassion, connection, and change. Wherever possible, Luca chooses to give back—supporting charities that reflect both his values and his personal journey.

He is currently proud to support St Peter & St James Hospice, a cause close to his heart. This remarkable organization provides care and dignity to those facing life-limiting illnesses, including dementia—a condition that has profoundly affected Luca’s own family through his beloved grandfather.

Luca also lends his voice and visibility to the Vera Lynn Charity, continuing the legacy of Dame Vera Lynn by championing children with cerebral palsy and other motor learning difficulties. Through music, Luca amplifies their stories and helps raise vital awareness and support.

For Luca, giving back isn’t an afterthought—it’s a core part of his mission. Every note, every performance, is an opportunity to uplift others and honour those who inspire him most.
